Ever thought why did any Indian directors never thought of making a film about a sinking ship? Why would you but in case you do suffer from such frivolous thoughts, here are the reasons why we should, actually, be grateful that they didn't-

Karan Johar- Jack would have tried to unite Rose and her fiance before dying even though he truly loved her fiance

Sanjay L Bhansali- Rose is blind and Jack is a painter suffering from full body paralysis and Titanic would be Blue with satin drapes everywhere. 

Aditya Chopra- Jack is the son of a multimillionaire, so is Rose. He is on the ship to woo her as promised to his mother who is an ex flame of Rose's father

Nagesh Kukunoor- Jack is a rascal and is heading homewards, against his will, to meet his strict disciplinarian dad. He makes lots of friends on the ship, even the bully from his high school and realizes life is beautiful as he finds his ultimate career path as a sailor. No the ship doesn't sink due budget constraints.

Sriram Raghavan- No one knows what Jack knows. And Rose doesn't know that her fiance is a traitor, hand in glove with the Russians. Jack is not sure if he loves Rose or not but he is doing his 'job'. The only thing is- he doesn't know what his job is.

Rajkumar Hirani- The captain of Titanic is a tyrant and 3 friends Jack, Rose and her boyfriend Vikram, teach him the brighter side of life. In the end, Rose marries Vikram and Jack gets the Titanic

Farhan Akhtar- The title of the movie would be Titanic- Don sails. Don is on the ship to find the man who ran away with the script of Don 2. In the end- Only Don knows why, of so many others, he pushes a stupid couple reclining by the railing of the ship into the ocean.and Don takes control of the ship. Yeah yeah, he didn't know Titanic has to sink in the end.

Dibakar Banerjee- Story unknown. Only thing known is that there will be hidden CC cameras in every room.

Anurag Kashyap- Jack is trying to forget his lost love when he meets a disillusioned rich girl and both of them gang up to mend their ailing hearts by setting a bomb on the ship. Rose survives to tell the tale in an interview with a film maker in her mental asylum cell

Himesh Reshamiya- Yes, he'll direct it himself. All the characters will be played by Himesh himself and he'll sing a Gujarati version of 'my heart will go on' in 3 voices setting the stage, the main ball room and the adjoining deck on fire. This is the only Titanic that goes down burning.

RGV- Titanic is infested with a ghost named Rose. Jack is a gangster, trying to kill a mafia don who is the husband of the ghost. The whole film will be shot on a DSLR camera with only low angle shots. There's a blood bath in the end. Not in the film but the movie theatre it is shown.
